- All panels, including floor panels, are 60mm for chiller trailers and 100mm for freezer trailers.
- All trailers have food grade GRP surfaces for total hygiene control. For ease of use and safety, the Frigo-King and Freeze Liner trailers come with easy to use special cold room door locks with internal safety opening and twin doors with sturdy stainless steel hinges for on-site security.
- All doors are lockable and all external edges are covered by heavy duty anodised aluminium for extra protection.
- All trailers have an internal light which can be switched from inside the trailer.

New and Used Chiller Trailers for Sale
As well as our chiller and freezer trailers that are available for purchase, IceBox also operates one of the largest rental fleets of refrigerated and freezer trailers in the UK. Due to the continual rotation of the fleet, we usually have a number of used / ex-rental units available for sale. These units can range in age from several years old to only a few months old. As sole UK importer of Wörmann refrigerated trailers, we sell a range of new units imported from Germany. We also have a fleet of ex-hire trailers which we sell as used stock.
We provide a nationwide mainland delivery service. Simply provide your delivery postcode and we’ll be pleased to provide you with a quote.
We always suggest forward planning and pre-ordering to facilitate import schedules and onward delivery. We tend to hold a number of units in stock but they can move very quickly in peak periods!
New rules for towing a trailer came into effect on 16th December 2021. We would recommend that you check these regulations together with the categories shown on your driving license to establish whether you are licensed to tow a trailer. The gross trailer weight (MAM) can be found within the Trailer Range specifications section of this website and you should also refer to your vehicle handbook for details of your vehicle’s towing capacity.
Our trailers can be powered by a standard 240v domestic power supply or a standalone generator (min 5kva) can also be used.
IceBox has used trailers ranging from only a few months old (nearly new) to several years old. Used trailer availability is usually shown on the website but, should you not see what you are looking for, please feel free to call us.
